What is Yoga?
Yoga is for everyone and of any age! Yoga lets you tune in, shape up, chill out, feel wonderful all at the same time. Bendy, non-bendy, spiritual, or non-spiritual, sporty, or non-sporty, we all have one thing in common. Our lives are quite hectic and demanding at most times. We desperately need the amazing feeling of having grown taller, wiser, happier and more relaxed. Yoga is an ancient art and its all about bringing balance to your mind, body and soul. You can achieve that state through meditation, breathing techniques and by performing yoga asanas (poses). Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow.
