Bilingual, boutique yoga studio
With special focus on our community, Yoga house offers adult classes for both beginner and advanced students. The little yogis are welcome to join the Kids or Teen Yoga classes.
The studio boasts large windows all around, allowing plenty of natural day light to flood in. The atmosphere is warm and filled with positive energy making it the perfect space to relax and let go.
The Yoga House is the first boutique bilingual yoga studio in Cologne. It was created by Nina and Vivien, Vinyasa yoga instructors and good friends, as a home away from home, offering yoga for the whole family.
Plenty of parking spaces available, and only an 8 min walk from the S Bahn Köln Müngersdorf Technologiepark station (S12, S13, S19)
Enjoy the benefits of a small studio!
Small class size
In a small studio, chances are you’ll attend a small class. While some may find this a bit unnerving, personal attention from the yoga instructor can be great, especially for those just starting out on their yoga journey.
You can see the teacher
When you’re in a small class, your teacher is often always visible. You’re not in the sixth row, craning your neck around someone else to see the new position your teacher is walking you through for the first time. And you can see all of your teacher: foot positioning, leg angle, stacked shoulders—the complete pose and her movement.
The teacher can see you
In a packed class, if it’s hard for you to see your teacher, it’s probably hard for her to see you, too. But in a small class your yoga instructor can easily see when you.
Practicing in a smaller studio makes it easier to forge a personal connection with your yoga teacher—and for her to do the same with you.
You will meet new people
In a big studio you’re more likely to sit down on your mat and stretch out quietly before class starts. It feels great to connect with fellow yogis. Who knows, you might just meet your best new yoga friend in class.
What is Yoga?
Yoga is for everyone and of any age! Yoga lets you tune in, shape up, chill out, feel wonderful all at the same time. Bendy, non-bendy, spiritual, or non-spiritual, sporty, or non-sporty, we all have one thing in common. Our lives are quite hectic and demanding at most times. We desperately need the amazing feeling of having grown taller, wiser, happier and more relaxed. Yoga is an ancient art and its all about bringing balance to your mind, body and soul. You can achieve that state through meditation, breathing techniques and by performing yoga asanas (poses). Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like, which explains why it is sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow.
